I Want to go to the Fitness & Health Bloggers Conference

Posted Mar 20 2012 1:00pm
If you want something you have to go for it right?

Big dreams, big goals, big results.

Well this is what I want: I want to go to the Fitness & Health Bloggers Conference .

When Kyle & I started our blog last summer we did so for our clients.  We wanted to be transparent.  We wanted to show that we do practice what we preach.  We train hard. We sweat. We eat clean. We live. We enjoy.

We had a desire to show that a healthy, active lifestyle is really possible for anyone!

Last summer I said to Kyle, "Next year if our blog has grown can I go to a blogging conference?" He said yes.

We kept blogging trying to create interesting, inspiring posts and workouts.  Our blog grew.

Carissa was accepted as a FitFluential Ambassador and we grew some more.

We were noticed and nominated for a  Fitness Magazine Blogger Award . Growing still.

So now there's a new question, "Hey Refuel with Chocolate Milk  - can I go to the FHBC12 ? Pretty please with chocolate (milk) on top!"

You see ReFuel with Chocolate Milk is offering scholarships to 40 FitFluential Ambassadors to attend this year's Fitness & Health Bloggers Conference in June.

What's better than an amazing conference with inspiring fit-minded bloggers?
Getting a scholarship to go!

The conference is June in Denver, Colorado. This agenda excites me and some of the speakers have me really jazzed!  Yes, I'm a nutrition student and YES I get excited about evidence-based research. I'd also love to put names to blog and Twitter handles PLUS network with some great RD's attending the event.
And there are burritos!  Holy guacamole!

I'm so proud of how Fit2Flex has grown. I would love this opportunity not only for the blog, but to be able to learn new things to apply to personal training as well as my nutrition education.

The winner is chosen randomly so cross those fingers guys! psst- did I mention Kyle drinks chocolate milk on his workout days?

Love and a 4:1 ratio,
Carissa & Kyle
