I have a loose bowel,if I eat fruit or veg

Posted by Wunjo

I have always eaten lots of fruit and veg but since taking citalopram some 3 years ago which gave me almost constant diarrhoea I get a very loose bowel it isn't painful but it makes me very nervous to eat much and also to go out where there isn't an easy access toilet!  I find imodium works but don't like taking it as a matter of course.  I feel OK and when my bowel movement isn't runny it appears normal plus I have been tested for about anything you can name and all results came back OK.  I wonder if I can resolve this by eating/not eating some foods.  Help!

You may want to add two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar in a cup of water and add maybe a teaspoon of honey just to help sweeten it a little. Also, Green Apple pro-96 acidophilus probiotic is good for diarrhea too. You can usually get it at your local health food store. I hope you feel better soon.
Thanks QueenMaa I'll look into your suggestions.  It does seem to be a problem for lots of people.  Any suggestions as when is the best time to take the apple cider vinegar?
