I am a salesmans dream. I will buy anything if they can give me a good reason why I should.
I proved this point the other day at Walmart when I bought this.
10 Things I Hate About You is my all time favorite movie. I’ve seen it so many times that no one will watch it with me because I recite the lines, and laugh before something funny happens because I know its coming. Given that fact, its pretty obvious that I already have a copy of the DVD (as well as VHS).
That fact didn’t stop me from purchasing the 10 year anniversary edition. There are deleted scenes, and a couple other extra features that are not on the original. I obviously couldnt live without it.
So yes, I spent $13.88 on a movie I already have.
Im a sucker.
In other news, I watched New Moon last night. It was on, and I was curious to see what the fuss was all about. I’ve seen the first Twilight (a couple times actually) and I still don’t think anything really happens. If someone asked me “hey Leah, what happened in the first Twilight movie?” I wouldn’t know how to answer. Bella didn’t die. That’s all.
New Moon seemed a bit better. There was definitely more going on, but I still don’t get the fuss. Someone tell me – are the books better? I’ve heard some very mixed reviews, and going by the movies, it seems a little crazy to me that this has turned into such a huge thing. Then again, I’ve always had a super irrational fear of vampires. I’ve slept with my blankets covering my neck for as long as I can remember.
