WE ARE MARRIED!!!!

Some of you might have guessed that this is coming… but maybe not as soon as it actually happened! Well.. that’s my style… when I decide something, I just do it, no planning is needed
At the CourtHouse to apply for the license

At the Attorney Place to get married!

Getting married is like forming a company, each party with duties and responsibilities.

Happy doing “business”
Listening the speech

Okay. We were declared HUSBAND & WIFE!

After the mini civil ceremony we went to one of the most romantic restaurant in DC area called

I like its modern decor, it’s chic and comfortable

with flaming fire, just like our love

My best friend Qiao, the only friend that I invited to be present at this special moment in my life.

We shared 3 first courses.
#1 spicy crunchy shrimp

#2 salmon tempura roll

#3 grilled fig salad

My favorite was the shrimp…. very unique taste and texture!
Star’s 2nd course: Sticky ribs

Qiao had grilled beef sirloin

and I had Scallops

look how pretty they are, over grilled zucchini and topped with lotus and fried seaweed.

My choice of 3rd course: Bittersweet chocolate molten cake

Star and Qiao both ordered Banana bread pudding

That was it! No flowers, no guests, no wishes from family, but we’re in LOVE and our LOVE is enough to make this day, 2010.01.20, special!
We’ll have our formal wedding in China next year, it will be a traditional chinese wedding.. I’m looking forward to be the “guest”!
Q: What’s the biggest difference you noticed after getting married (compared to being single)?
