Hungry for More!

I found myself wanting more out of my fitness and wellness routines.  Why does it all have to be so boring?  Why does it have to feel like work?  Why does it feel like I have to drag my bottom out of bed just to get fit. healthy and stylish!  Fact is it doesn't.  It's truly mind over matter.  Does it feel like that at first?  YES!  I have plenty of clients who hated the routine.  Then when they walked passed the mirror and saw the changes they became hungry for more!

They realized how much work they had put in and how it was paying off.  Do you want more?  Do have that fire and that hunger for more?  Are you tired of the same old, same old?  I am right there with you.  Even Fitness Coaches fall off the wagon.  You get tired.  But the best part of being fit and healthy is learning about your body.  What feels good and makes you look good!  You need to learn all about yourself in order to find the joy in your adventure lets nix the word routine!

I dare you to jump in and have fun.  Here is what I love to do with my family, friends and in general that gets that fire burning and my hunger for more.  More for myself because I deserve it.  It stirs up the passion.

1- Dance, dance, dance.  There are times when I am cleaning the house even though I should get a housekeeper to do it but fact is save the money and make it a workout.  Where was I, ah yes?  There are times when I am cleaning the house that I get into it.  I have the music up, the broom sweeping, my lips singing the tunes and before I realize it I have done a gazillion squats picking up stuff off the floor, and worked out my arms with the scrubbing and mopping.

2- Walk the walk.  I hate running and the fact is no one can make you do what you don't want to do.  But I love to walk.  I love grabbing my family, the dog and going out for fresh air.  There are some amazing trails that I have yet to discover here where we reside in Pensacola, Florida.  2010 will surely be filled with adventure trails and more lbs melting away.

3- Suck it up!  I don't know if its the fact that I am a marine wife and that's why I say it like that, but truth be told you have to suck it up sometimes.  Push through those negative thoughts, and smack yourself into reality.  DO it and at some point you will learn to love it.
