Hope everyone has done all of their Christmas shopping and are ready for the holidays! I am still waiting for 3 items I ordered online for gifts to arrive in the mail, so I am starting to stress out a little bit about that! They really only have one more day to get here in time for Christmas morning.
I have been so busy that I haven't really had time to blog much, there also hasn't been too much going on lately. Just trying to stay on top of my fitness and get to the gym and minium of 4 days a week, and eat healthy meals during the week since the weekends seem to be filled with wine, cheese and another high calorie delights!
This past month instead of doing my usual Foodie Penpal, I participated in an ornament exchange organized by Carolyn from Just Keep Sweating called Hung for the Holidays! I was paired with Stephanie (not a blogger) from British Columbia Canada. Just was a great match for me and she really put a lot of thought into the ornaments she picked out, yes she sent me two!
Here is what Stephanie had to say about the ornaments she sents me "I hope you enjoy the bells of Christmas - one is made as a door hanger and the other is an ornament; however, both can be used as either. They were made for you by an artisan from Salt Spring Island - more stereotypically known as the hippie, crafty, island life people. My daughter and I went to an artisan fair and spotted these." So thoughtful!!! Stephanie and her daughter also sent me some chocolate covered gummy bears, yes you heard me right CHOCOLATE COVERED GUMMY BEARS! Just when I thought gummies couldn't get any better, someone dipped them in chocolate. AMEN!
My Hung for the Holidays Ornaments!
On a completely unrelated note, Dan and I finally booked a hall for our wedding! Whoohoo! The hall is gorgeous and on April 26th 2014 I will be marrying the love of my life!!! We are having a smaller wedding, so I am dreading making the guest list but I have never wanted a large wedding so we decided small is the best option for us. I just want it small and classy with great food and good music!
I also think I have decided on a colour scheme.... I am thinking black, deep purple with a touch of silver accents! My bridesmaids are going to wear black dresses and I am going to let them pick out whatever style they want. I personally prefer the look of different style of dresses rather than everyone wearing the exact same, plus everyone has different body types and I want my bridesmaides to me comfortable in the dress and be able to wear something flattering. My only stipulation is that they be knee length or a little shorter since it is a spring wedding!
This past week Christmas came a little early for me as I received three different items in the mail that I had either won, or was sent to review! SO FUN!!! the first item was Choice Organic Teas, I am having a great time trying out all of the different flavours, you can expect a review over the holidays! I had also recently won two.... yes TWO sports bras from Handful Bra. There are by far my favourite bras, I own two already and wear them all of the time! I had also won a Bobble Water Bottle from my girl Jen from Run it My Way, its actually filters water for you! so cool!
And finally the moment you have all been waiting for!!!! The winner of the Allied Medal Display is entry #420 Sarah Ohm from My (Mostly) Healthy Life!!!! Yeah lady! so thrilled that you won! You have 48 hours to contact me to claim your prize!!
