And by G-Men I mean the Giants and by Zen I mean yoga.
Giants? Yoga? No, I’m not thoroughly confused. Those macho Superbowl -playing football players not only get their yoga on, they have their own team yoga coach.

Can you picture that? Giant linebackers doing downward dogs? Well if yoga for football players is a good thing, it’s probably good for the rest of us too. You can get your zen on online with the Giants own yoga trainer, Gwen Lawrence , through Gaiam TV.
Gaiam TV is an online collection of workout videos and resources. Normally I’m not interested in anything that requires a subscription, but this one is completely worth it. For the same amount of money you’d spend on a workout DVD you’d get bored of within a week, you can have a month of unlimited access to a ton of different full length exercise videos.
I noticed a few exercise DVDs I already own on the Gaiam TV site, plus a whole bunch that I’d love to try but don’t feel like buying to test out.
Some selections:
Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30
Yoga for Runners
There are also a selection of films, documentaries, movies, and TV.
First on my list to watch?
Run for Your Life
I’m not always a big fan of exercise videos because I get bored pretty quickly, but having access to this many workouts helps with that. Plus, I can’t really get away from the house long enough to make it the gym for a group exercise class {or time it appropriately} while breastfeeding, so this is an awesome alternative.
One I’ll probably be skipping {or perhaps trying out of shear curiosity?!}:
The Situation Workout: Juice Glutes & Legs
Really?!

I’ll get things started with some of my favorite quotes :
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be?”
“Courage does not always roar. Sometimes it’s the little voice that says I’ll try again tomorrow.”
“Gold medals aren’t really made of gold. They’re made of sweat, determination, and a hard-to-find alloy called guts.”
