Since it is currently 5:30 and I am about to embark on a quest through a sea of Wal-Creatures, I thought I’d post my recipe for a healthy dinner before I go because I may return traumatized from seeing children on leashes, mullets and women dressed like this:
I followed her for a little while. So excited to see my first person of Walmart!
Honey Lemon Salmon
Honey Lemon Sauce
1 tbsp honey for each salmon filet
juice of half a lemon
pinch of lemon pepper or regular pepper
pinch of basil
a little bit of lemon zest
Put the salmon filet(s) in the oven at 450 degrees for 15 minutes. Around the 10 minute mark, use a fork to poke holes in the salmon. Violently. Just kidding.
Pour the honey lemon mixture on the salmon and continue baking.
For the side, I just made a 1/4 cup of whole grain rice with some broccoli.
I came up with the recipe idea today and it worked out pretty well! I loved it. It was sweet & citrusy.
