Just stepped out of the car after a very successful car ride back...Moose held her cookies but my hips could not feel tighter! The weekend went by incredibly fast, even though we had no real plans I felt like we didn't stop moving.
My mom tried a few new recipes this Thanksgiving, one of which was a stuffed acorn squash with quinoa and red rice mixture (recipe to come later this week). I helped with a lot of the sides, but my real contribution was an oatmeal chocolate chip pecan pie from Ingredients, Inc. It was super yummy!
Ryan and I were on our way to a party on Friday night and happened to pass by one of my favorite St. Louis attractions during the holiday season, the lights at Tilles Park. If you live in St. Louis or you will be in there in the next month it is a must see. The park is lit up into a winter wonderland and the lights dance to holiday music. It is truly magical.
I hope everyone had a wonderful and happy Thanksgiving! Now its back to reality...
This week's workout plans Sunday: Walk with mom for an hour and the pup
Monday: Hot Vinyasa (I have got to loosen up these hips)
