I’ve got some pretty cute snacks coming your way! Last night, I sat down to bake some holiday treats for my office-mates. I used a tried-and-true recipe a friend taught me back in college. It is incredibly easy and requires only 3 ingredients:
Hershey Kisses – I use the holiday kind but you can use the white/milk chocolate swirl ones. All the others won’t melt fast enough in the oven, which I learned that the hard way the first time I tried this recipe.
All you have to do is line the pretzels on a baking sheet, top with Hershey Kisses and pop them in the oven for 10 minutes at 200F. Once they’re done, top with and M&Ms.
I brought these into work in a big Ziploc Bag, but they would be really cute wrapped up as small gifts or party favors. It doesn’t get much easier than that!
This is incredibly late, and I’m so sorry for that! Within the last past few weeks I received two blogger awards. First, thank you so much Thao @Snapshots of Happiness for nominating me for Liebster Blog award! I started this blog without the intention of really having anyone follow it, so it’s incredibly flattering to know that others enjoy reading my ramblings!
The Liebster award is for up-and-coming bloggers with less than 200 followers. Here are the rules around the award.
1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you.
2. Reveal your top five picks and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog.
3. Copy and paste the award on your blog.
4. Hope that the people you’ve sent the award to forward it to their five favorite bloggers and keep it going!
I’m trying not to pick people that I know have already been awarded this award so here goes:
Liebster Blog Awardees
In addition, I want to thank Lena @ Fit on the Rocks for selecting me as one of the bloggers for the Versatile Blogger Award!
One stipulation of the award is that you must share 7 fun facts about yourself so that others can get to know you better. Here are my fun facts!
7 Fun Facts
I’m allergic to penicillin.
I love writing my blog, but I am generally much better at analytical subjects like math and science.
I am a terrible driver. I’ve never gotten into an accident or received a ticket, but I know I’m bad. Haha. I perpetuate the stereotype of bad Asian woman driver.
My wardrobe consists entirely of greys, nudes, or the occasional rich color. I really don’t like wearing pink.
I have never tanned my skin and have worn sunscreen on my face every day since I was in the 7th grade.
I am very passionate about animal rescue.
Ever since I was little, I have wanted my wedding to be in a field, vineyard, or barn.
Here are my awardees (once again, trying not to pick bloggers who have already received the award):
Aanndd now I’m super-stuffed. I had eggplant parm and roasted veggies for dinner. So satisfying in this cold weather.
I’m off to finish my laundry before calling it a night! Goodnight friends!
