Holiday Day Five - Burlington and North Woodstock

Time for day five of our American adventure!!

We started the day with another lovely Lang House breakfast. They gave us nutmeg muffins to start

Hello, pigtails!

And I had the buttermilk waffles with a random sausage and fruit. American breakfasts often seem to have sweet and savoury stuff on the same plate?!

Then it was off in the car and time to leave Burlington and Vermont and to North Woodstock in New Hampshire

We went to the Ben and Jerry's factory on the way!!





We had a little tour round the factory to see how the ice cream was made etc and got to sample the flavour of the day


I was chuffed.. obviously!





We also shared a little choccy frozen yogurt


The factory was up in the hills in gorgeous surroundings

We arrived at The Woodstock Inn - a little B&B type place with a restaurant and it's own brewery

On the journey we made a special trip to Dollar Tree (my love for pound shops etc is international!!) to pick up some fab crap - lipbalms, mini peanut butter, cream of wheat, a tuna and cracker snack pack, choccy raisins and peanut butter biccie bite things.

And I got some goodies in the Ben & Jerry's shop. A huge fab travel mug, Chunky Monkey bread mix, a mug and two lip balms

The B&B

Mangaged to fit in yet more spending! Reese's Cereal (omg), maple fudge for my Mam, sweeties, a pumpkin candle and a jar of apple and maple butter

I was missing my Kombucha, so found this instead. Which was pretty nice


The B&B was full of trashy mags which I enjoyed before our evening meal

Was feeling a bit chilly so instead of a cocktail I had a boozy coffee instead. Was lush!



And we watched the NHL Stanley Cup - which we have both surprisingly got into. Go Bruins!
