Typically, I wake up each morning thinking of at least one topic that I want to write about. This morning nothing really struck me. Throughout the exciting day that is my life as a job seeker, a few ideas popped into my mind, though nothing that I wanted to write an entire post about. Therefore, I present you with my mental hodgepodge.
You are soooo very welcome.
Nick came down with a head cold last week and gave it to me.
Now he avoids me like the plague because he’s afraid that he’ll somehow contract it again. Not only is that ridiculous given the basic nature of human immunity, we also use the same toothbrush!
I have a new delicious beverage to feed my newfound Stevia obsession. I shall call it Easy Peasy Fresh-Squeezy Stevia Lemonade.
1 cup water
1 big handful of ice cubes
Juice of 1/2 or 1 whole lemon (depending on taste) plus some of the now juiced lemons
Stir everything with a spoon and muddle the lemon peel to release some of the essential oils. HOLY-refreshing-YUM.
I have a job interview for a Wellness and Nutrition Coach job tomorrow for a small start up company and have no idea what to wear. Typically, I go with the dress to impress attitude and overdress. I even wear heels – gasp!
I finished Tana French’s Faithful Place this morning and then read Rip Esselstyn’s Engine 2 Diet in the span of three hours. Great book, wonderful recipes, and I totally agree with a lot of the recommendations. Somehow reading about a completely vegan diet made me decide to eat sausage pizza for dinner!
I would love to hear from you…
What is your attitude re dressing for job interviews?
