Hello WordPress + Recipe!

Posted Mar 29 2013 4:15am
Hello and welcome to my new and improved blog! I am so excited to have finally merged from Blogger to WordPress. I want to give a BIG BIG shout out and thank you to the wonderful designer Julie from Deluxe Designs who made this all happen! Another shout out to Ami from Lime Creative Marketing who helped redesign the FFF logo. I am so thankful for both of you!
My favorite part of the site (other than the logo) are the social media icons. I am also really excited about the Search function, which I have been wanting and needing for the past 2.5 years! Over the next couple of months, I will be adding a drop down menu for my recipes so they are easier to find and better organized. I have 200 something recipes, so it’s a big project!
I’m still working on adding a few more features and tweaking things with Julie. In celebration of the new site…A BALL RECIPE! (Oh and about my Protein Chocolate Cake that you saw on my FFF facebook page…that will be coming up sometime in April. It’s actually a recipe I was working on for Designer Whey, so I will coordinate a scheduled post time and let you all know!)
Sunflower Bird Food Balls
Ingredients (yields 14-15 balls)
Method
  1. First, melt your sunflower seed butter (if need be)
  2. Then, transfer into a medium sized bowl and add brown rice syrup and mix.
  3. Add rest of ingredients and mix until it becomes one big almond chew.
  4. Roll dough between your palms to form balls.
Lastly, MY FAMILY IS IN TOWN!! It’s been since January since I’ve seen my parents or siblings and I am SO excited to spend time with them. My mom and I went to 50th and France last night, a really cool little neighborhood in Edina, MN.

Today the mom and I are working on finding some new paint colors to paint my family room and some new art decor as well. First up: a workout.
HAPPY FRIDAY!
