I'd talk about what I liked and disliked about each car, but that would take me 10 hours. Buying a car is hard, especially if you look at reviews online. There's always going to be ups and downs of a car.
Why I purchased the Toyota Rav4...
Gas Mileage: 22 city / 28 highway
4 Wheel Drive
The Toyota Name
Heated Seats :)
While I didn't end up with the preferred V6 model, I am quite satisfied with my purchase. I was very thankful for the amount of money I got back for my 2003 Liberty (more than expected), so I had a big chunk of money + more from my savings to put down on the car. Not having a car payment was fun while it lasted...hello car loan.
I need to give a major shout out to Blake...He really helped me to do a lot of research and find me the car that had everything i wanted. I took over 2 of his weekends and many nights for this car search. Before this ordeal, I didn't even know the difference between a 4 Cylinder and a 6 Cylinder. Blake was very patient with me and a great companion during this experience! He made sure I test drove multiple vehicles, even after I had my heart set on the Rav4. He also didn't let me settle. "If your spending this much money on a car, you better get everything that you want."
The dealership I bought my car from is called Luther Brookdale Toyota located in Brooklyn Center, MN. The dealership was extremely busy and we were there from 1PM - 6PM test driving, doing paperwork, waiting, etc. While it took longer than preferred, I had a really good experience with our saleswoman, Monica. Turns out her husband does something similar as to what Blake does, AND she is a fellow YOGI. We had a lot in common, which made the day seem not so long.
On a foodier note. Here's some eats from throughout the weekend...
