Rob’s been to Paris quite a bit before but I’m a first-timer. I’m sticking to tees, skinny jeans or shorts, flats and light sweaters during the day since we’ll likely be doing a fair bit of wandering down cobblestone streets.
If you can’t tell, I’m obsessed with these J. Crew ballet flats . I bought this coral pair and after wearing them for a week at my hospital internship, went straight back to the store and also bought them in taupe , which goes with EVERYTHING in my closet! They got me through 12 weeks of running around the hospital and still look almost brand new. If we’re talking cost-per-wear, I’m definitely getting my money’s worth out of these. After about a week of breaking in, they were perfect.
Unfortunately, my fiancé is stuck working until 1am at the Olympics every night while we’re in London but Paris will be a vacation for us both! I brought a few cute outfits for nighttime dinner dates, one being a cute black romper, my most practical & sexy heels and leopard scarf to keep me warm once the sun goes down.
Packing tip: Don’t have room for black and brown heels? Pack nude… heels, that is. They go with both and elongate your legs.
All I have on the agenda for tomorrow is sleeping in and hitting the gym. I’m sure I’ll venture out into the city at some point but for now, sleep and exercise are the only things on my to-do list!
Hi friends! I’m on the train to downtown London! (Mom, I arrived safely.) As promised , here’s some of what I packed for 6 days in Paris.
