Healthy Foods To You Cooking Class Series: Vegetables

Last night was the How to Cook Veggies section of the HFTY cooking class series. I was pumped because I love making veggies fun and interesting! I think I could eat veggies all day long…

well…..maybe.

Anyways, I prepared several dishes ahead of time for my class members to taste and try. Included in the lineup were:

-Roasted Brussels Sprouts

-Balsamic Brussels Sprouts

-Roasted Root Veggies

-Broccoli Soup

-Curried Cauliflower

They were delicious!! We also went over how to properly cut and steam broccoli and cauliflower. Then we made some kale chips which were a hit! We snapped asparagus and ate veggies until we were stuffed!!

It was really fun. I feel like I could teach classes for the rest of my life! I love it! I even made Tim sit in for a while to learn some basics ;0)

Next week we dive into the wonderful world of Grain/Sugar free dessert making!! This class I am truly excited about!! On the menu….Blueberry Banana Bars, Apple Crisp, Coconut Pancakes and so much more!! If you are interested in attending, it is March 3rd @ 7pm. Cost is $15. Let me know if you are interested!!
