Butternut Squash Pizza
vegetarian – “as is”
non-vegetarian – top with shredded mozzarella cheese
kids – My kids love cheese — I would add mozzarella cheese to their portion of the pizza
Goat Cheese and Black Bean Burger
vegetarian – this recipe does contain eggs and cheese
non-vegetarian – she has another recipe for non-veggies on the same post (turkey burgers)
kids – I would make both the veggie and the turkey burgers and let them choose between the two
Layered Cous Cous & Zucchini Casserole
vegetarian – “as is”
non-vegetarian – add grilled chicken
kids – My older son might eat this, the younger one – probably not… they would both love the egg sandwich Ari posted with this recipe.
Orange Glazed Chickpeas
vegetarian – “as is”
non-vegetarian – top with grilled chicken
kids – My kids LOVE orange chicken so I’m sure this one would be a hit
Jenn @ Peas & Crayons sent over this gotta.make.now stuffed potato recipe (I’ve got russet potatoes on my shopping list)
Healthified Samosas
vegetarian — “as is”
non-vegetarian — top w/ shredded cheese and greek yogurt
kids – My kids love potatoes with melted Earth Balance buttery spread and shredded cheese and that is how I would top their samosas.
What’s not to love about zees recipes! So creatively healthy =)
