What do you do with Frozen apples? You make a healthy apple pie smoothie! I posted this recipe a week or so ago and I continue to make it daily so I thought I would share it again for those of you who missed it. The husband loves it!
Ingredients(makes 1 serving) 1 cup frozen apples 1/2 cup plain or vanilla greek yogurt (I love Chobani) 4 oz. unsweetened coconut milk 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground cloves 1/4 tsp nutmeg 1 scoop Vega vanilla almondilla protein powder (optional)
Directions: Mix all ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
So eat your apple a day for breakfast or for dessert, it is that good!
