HEALTH CARE REFORM MEANS NOTHING-until we start taking better care of ourselves

I will wait for the dust to settle on all the bureaucratic nonsense. Right now it is all talk.
Here is what is not all talk, but hard, cold reality. No matter what systems ends up being in place, it is doomed to fail within the next ten years because it will be overwhelmed by the health problems of fat people. Already, hospitals are overcrowded and care is compromised because of patients who are in the hospital because they failed to take decent care of themselves.
As long as so many of us continue to gorge ourselves to a slow and agonizing death, as long as so many of us waste away on the couch, no system will be able to support the crush.
