Happy Wiki-ing!

Posted Oct 22 2008 9:32pm

The AHIMA Library has releasedLanguage of Health Data Exchangeby Meryl Bloomrosen, RHIA, MBA, and Kevin Heubusch about the trail of acronyms left by rapidly advancing data exchange initiatives.

Also, the RHIO Wiki website was just announced by partners Center for Health Transformation, eHealth Initiative, and CHIME.

This website and paper are both just in time for theSpring 2006 HIT Blogposium -- acollaborative experiment in meta-group-blogging and wiki building that starts Tuesday, April 18 and runs through the 20th.  This is how it will work:

  • On the first day, April 18, each participant will produce a draft of a topic entry for inclusion in  The Clinical Informatics Wiki.  For example, I've taken on RHIO/RHIN.

  • On the second day, the 19th, all participants and readers will provide comments and feedback.

  • On the final day, participants will revise their wiki contributions and add them to the wiki.

My fellow blogger

Michael Christopher will work on RHIO funding/financing and I'm working on definitions and communities.  To join us c
