Gruver Fitness Outdoor Boot Camp in Dover, Pennsylvania holds year-round classes for people of all ages and levels of fitness. The owner, Jeremy Gruver, started the business 5 years ago with a few clients and the focus of providing nutrition tips and the support needed to help people lose weight and get back into shape. Now he’s up to 80 participants with many of them sticking with the program for the long haul.
Four of those people who recently joined his program were dedicated enough to lose over 100 pounds each. With Jeremy and the other participants’ support, they all changed their diets and committed to fitness routines as well as lifestyle changes to keep the weight off.
Amy March lost 105 pounds. “I’m not going to tell you that it’s going to be easy. It’s going to take a lot of dedication and commitment. It’s worth it.”
Amy Slater lost 108 pounds. “The past is the past. You can’t change the things that you’ve done. You can only change the things that you do now. That can start today.”
Rachel Reachard lost 100 pounds. “Find a support system. Be open-minded to try new things. Accept the new you as you go through.”
Justin Gruver lost 105 pounds. “It might look like an impossible task, but anybody can do it. I’m food’s No. 1 fan. You really can’t look at the big picture. You have to take it in steps.”
