Grocery Shopping and Carrot Cake

Posted Mar 28 2011 8:59pm

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a wonderful Monday so far!

After work today, I came home and made some pasta! Pasta is always a wonderful essential to keep in the pantry! I always keep whole wheat angel hair pasta and organic pasta sauce in case something happens or a quick meal needs to be made in a jiffy!

Because the electricity went off on Saturday , there was a much needed refrigerator restock that occurred today!

Here is a copy of the list I brought with me today Raw Spinach
Organic Salad Mix
Bananas
Pears
Berries
Zucchini
Mozzarella Cheese
Parmesan Cheese
Ricotta Cheese
Greek Yogurt
Almond Milk
Organic Eggs
Rapid Rising Yeast
Whole Wheat Rolls
Hummus
Whole Wheat Crackers
Pumpkin Seeds
I also splurged on a piece of carrot cake which was on the bakery sale rack for .50! :)

Afterwards, lots of homework was completed this afternoon along with some tennis bracket drawing for my dad’s tennis team, some stretching and lots of foam rolling! On a side note, would ya’ll like for me to do a post about foam rolling? It took me a while to really understand what foam rolling was and how to get the most out of my foam roller! I might be the only one! But just let me know if ya’ll would like a video or informative post!

There was a snack of some Greek Yogurt and some berries and then half of a Subway veggie delight sandwich for dinner! It was really tasty and the perfect dinner for such a busy day!

Desert included 1/4 of this carrot cake slice! It was so delicious!

I hope you all have a wonderful night! I am about to do a little more homework and then watch Bethenny Ever After! She is too funny!

Oh, and a lot of you wanted some feedback about Due Date! Casey gave it a 3.6 on a scale of 1-5 stars and I gave it a 3.5! :) It had some funny parts but I am not quite sure if it met the expectations we both had for it. Has anyone else seen any good movies lately?

See you tomorrow!
