Morning! This sure has been a weird winter weather-wise here in Chapel Hill. We’ve been blanketed in cold, wet weather and gray skies since last Friday with the temperatures doing all sorts of crazy things and sporadic downpours messing up my hair.

The depressing weather didn’t get the best of me this morning though. I heard the sun is supposed to make an appearance later this afternoon and wanted to get my workout in early so I can enjoy it! I met Anne at the track {not so} bright and early this morning. We did a combination of sprinting, jogging and strength moves.

Here’s how it went down:

2 warmup laps

2 laps of sprint-the-straight/jog the curves

Bootcamp moves: star squats

2 laps of sprint-the-straight/jog the curves

Bootcamp moves: pushups with alternating mountain climbers & alternating leg hops

2 laps ofsprint-the-straight/jog the curves

Bootcamp moves: tricep dips, balancing leg lifts (pictured)

1 lap ofsprint-the-straight/jog the curves (we ran out of steam!)

2 cool down laps

Working out with friends is always more fun. Today it also happened to be the only reason I got my butt out of bed at 6am!
