The past two days have been pretty uneventful yet tiring, which is why I skipped out on blogging every detail.
On a bright note we managed to sell the car and buy the new one all with in the same 2 hour window. It was pretty amazing. We love the new car lots. We travel often so a great car is key.
The other day I got some Jillian Michaels dvds delivered to my door (via Amazon), and then I purchased the latest issue of Women’s Health at Target.

A girl’s gotta have fresh entertainment.
Yesterday’s workout was Banish Fat Boost Metabolism and I loved it. This was an excellent cardio workout. Today’s workout was a classic Barry’s Bootcamp Butt and Leg DVD. I forgot how challenging Barry’s Bootcamp really is. I did the weights section along with the non-treadmill cardio section. The workout is KILLER.
The past two days have been tough on the booty but I’ve still managed to get some serious cleaning done. The mountain of laundry in my basement (aka Mt. Everest) is slowly shrinking.
Here are some of my eats from the past two days…

more protein pancakes

Baked microwaved sweet potato with a 2 T of goat cheese

watermelon beer which tasted a little too artificial for my liking

a mango spring roll from Whole Food’s
Tonight’s dinner was the highlight because we went to eat at Grant’s . All of the food here is local and fresh.

I had the cucumber martini.

This salad was amazing, fresh and perfectly light!

My main course was sea scallops with sauteed spinach and baby carrots. They used olive oil instead of butter for my meal.
For dessert I had two housemade truffles. Normally I wouldn’t order dessert but this restaurant was voted best dessert in CT by Connecticut Magazine. Also, the truffles were tiny. I didn’t take a picture but I had a chocolate peanut butter and a chocolate pistachio. They were both delicious!
I’m exhausted and I’ll be heading to bed soon so that I can wake up and have energy for a good workout.
Good night <3
