Just a quick post to let you know that I am not missing in action. I am on a little mini vacation for the weekend. And I am totally enjoying myself! It has been a busy week and I have been a bit of a slacking blogger. Sometimes we have to take a little time for ourselves. I hope you find the time, or make the time to do the same. I finally felt that it was time to really honor running and how it has changed my life and my health. As you may or may not know, I have struggled with an eating disorder for many years. Running has helped me to continue my recovery. As they say, it was in running that I found myself. Here is the tattoo that I helped design

I know tattoos aren't for everyone, but this is important to me. I absolutely love it!Aside from that, I am determined not to break this streak. Yesterday was day 10 of the #RWRunStreak. I got out there and did 1.25 miles and hope to take a longer one today. It is raining and unusually warm, so we'll see how that works out!Just one week left until my final race for the year.
