First things first GO VOTE! It doesn’t matter who you vote for but you have the opportunity to vote so make it count!
Second things second (does that make sense?) CrossFit Fifth Avenue the box I belong to is holding a Super Storm Sandy WOD. We will be raising money for those impacted by Hurricane Sandy. Half the money raised will go to the American Red Cross while the other half will be used to buy things needed (diapers, blankets, ect) for those affected.
EVERYONE IS WELCOME TO COME ENJOY THIS EVENT.
I am bummed I might not be able to attend the event because I am probably going home to volunteer at the beach. I have off on Monday so if it works out I might go to the event and then head home right after and volunteer Sunday / Monday.
I mentioned last week I was participating in two different challenges for myself. The first challenge was Tribesports Find Your 30 challenge. Since joining the challenge I have worked out at least 30 minutes 15 out of 20 days. I was even featured in an article on Tribesports.com.
The second challenge for myself was to participate in the Tone It Up Nutrition Plan. With the exception of one day (can we say binge) I have been following the plan about 80%.
This week I decided to take the challenge to the next level and planned my meals on Sunday.
I went to Trader Joe’s on Sunday and bought all the essentials ready for the week ahead.
Even though it’s only Tuesday morning I am really proud of myself for preparing my meals and staying on track.
And finally yesterday’s WOD.
