Sticking with the recent theme, today’s post is all about the benefits of eating LOCAL, all natural foods.

D and I took the trip to meet up with a good friend and explore the city. We just randomly stumbled upon this HUGE farmers market. Warehouses were stocked with fruits, veggies and everything else you can imagine..all from local farmers. The place was open everyday, year round. umm.. I’m ready to move NOW
I can’t tell you how much fun it was to shop around all the tables. We picked up boxes of cucumbers and a ton of beets for our juices. We made it out of there spending all of … 3 DOLLARS!
I know I’ve talked a ton about it before, but eating as natural as you can is one of the BEST things you can do for your body. Just think of it as…what you put into your body will show up on the outside. If you are putting these “fat-free” “sugar-free” chemicals into your body, it will definitely show. Your body will have to work much harder to break down those unhealthy toxins.
So, I’m challenging you on this lovely Friday. Take the next two days of the weekend and try it! Find a local farmers market this weekend and pick up some veggies. Go find a local farm and enjoy the scenery. Just FEEL how much better you feel being out there! Supplement just ONE of your meals with the ingredients you picked up. Wether thats a juice or a nice side dish..do it & see how you feel!
