Getting Stuffed This Thanksgiving

Posted Nov 17 2012 7:02pm

This year my brother was home from California for the weekend before Thanksgiving so we decided to have Thanksgiving dinner early.  We are running a 5 miler Thanksgiving morning so I am more than fine with chilling out after and taking it easy.  We will probably watch the parade and hang out, until we go to Brian’s family’s home in the evening for dessert.

As for our big Thanksgiving meal we had your standard fare.  Turkey, squash, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, green bean casserole, corn, stuffing, cranberry sauce, etc.  And usual all the food was delicious!

Cooper hit the milk and Brian (as usual) hit the gravy!

I strongly prefer dessert.  I love pie, cake, and peanut butter squares (not pictured because I ate them all).  My bad.

Now I am at home and waiting to digest so I can burn off a few calories before I go into a calorie coma.  I am going to do the following workout that will not only help get my heart rate up but also help tone my arms!  Even though I quit CrossFit, I can’t deny that I am much stronger for trying it and my push ups are better than they ever have been!

It is kind of weird having Thanksgiving dinner and not having Christmas movies on right now.  Let’s get this Christmas season started. I am having a hankering for some WHAM!

QUESTION: What is your favorite Thanksgiving day treat?
