Mr. Huzzah and I headed over to out high school track yesterday evening. Track workouts have been an integral part of our half marathon training. It helps to work on food turnover and speed, but it also teaches you what your limits are. I’ve learned how far I can push at top speed, and have a better idea what speed I need to sustain 400m versus 800m.
Our workout last night was a ladder workout. We built from 100ms to 200m to 400m and back down. As an extra challenge, we repeated and went back up!
I’m heading this afternoon to New Orleans! It’s for work, so not all that fun, but it is another new state for me! One more item done on my 30 Before 30 list!
