I could get used to the view.
Unbelievable!
Apres ski, cooking, eating and dancing need to happensometimes all at once.
I made a cheese plate for the good of the order before settling into the living room to catch up with the ladies!
Hey Ladies!
While the girls were chatting, the boys were cooking or making fires.
Nice job, Frankie!
Then it was time to eat!
The brussels sprout salad was amazing! I watched the technique very closely this year. First, you peel the outer layer from the brussel sprouts. Then they get shredded in the food processor, then they get cooked on the stove top with butter. When they are soft, squeeze a lemon or two over them. Then add a generous amount of cream and parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper. I can’t give exact measurements since the batch we had was for around 20 brussels loving people! I have to give Bo props for making my salad and meat sans salt. BTWs, I shared the giant filet!
The whole evening, this amazing 90s station was playing! We couldn’t have had more fun dancing to TLC, Alanis, Fiona and more!
And of course, when in Vermont…
I had a sampler, the cinnamon buns was the best, IMO!
The next morning, I was so sad we had to leave. It was a really fun weekend with lots of laughs. I will say, Ash and Bo have great taste in friends
.
All weekend, Frank was obsessed with waffles and pancakes!
He saw this mix and HAD to make pancakes for the first time in his life. Little did he know that this mix came from the honorable KERF !
To work he went,
These pancakes are seriously hearty! They have oats inside and 11 grams of protein!
While Frank cooked, I cleaned up and said goodbye to the amazing chateau Ashley put us up in! It has so many cute touches and great art!
And alas, it was time to leave. Back to NY!
This post is getting long! But, I’ll tell you about superbowl tonight!
