At any given time I have 2-3 different types of shampoos and conditioners in the shower. I like to mix it up to keep my hair feeling soft and not dull. Some of my choices are oldies and I have added some new ones into my rotation. I like to try different options for a lot of reasons; different price ranges to see if the more expensive really is better, do I feel a difference in the texture and cleanliness of my hair, does the color really last longer with special color products? Here are a few of my favorites...
Mid-priced. Biolage Color Care 33.8 oz, $24.55. I love the smell, leaves hair feeling lightweight, and tangle-free.
Inexpensive option,12.7 ounces, $5.75. Recommended by Glamour magazine. The smell is wonderful, leaves hair feeling smooth, great price point. and adds shine to hair.
Most expensive. 16 ounces, $39. This is my favorite shampoo/conditioner product overall. It keeps my color lasting, leaves hair feeling clean, helps repair damaged hair, and the smell is amazing. Since it is so expensive I only use it a few times a week to make it last longer.
Moderately priced. You can usually score a good deal on this product online or at Ulta. 33.8 ounces, at $31.99. Great smelling product and helps to keep color lasting.
Inexpensive. 10.2 ounces, at $4.75. I have been using this leave-in conditioner everyday for 3 years. It helps to detangle, adds shine, softens, and makes hair more manageable. One bottle goes a very long way!
Have you heard of soap.com ? You can order almost all of these products from soap.com or beautybar.com ( one of their affiliate websites), along with anything else you can dream of and it ships for free over $49.
