You know it’s fall when you sit on a porch, eat wings, drink a cold, pumpkin beer and watch some quality college football.
GO DAWGS! (FYI… we are now ranked 24… sa-weeeeeet!)

You know it’s fall when you go out in the evenings to watch soccer.
You know it’s fall when you get to start wearing cute cool weather accessories.

And you’ll know it’s fall once you try this scrumptious snack out!
I actually got the idea when I saw a facebook friend (Hi Ashley !) mention that she was snacking on some store-bought pumpkin spice almonds. MMmmm… those sounded tasty! So I decided to make my own.
Autumn Spiced Almonds
- 24 ounces roasted almonds
- 1 egg white
- 1 Tbsp water
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
First, beat your egg white until frothy. I used this coffee frother- worked like a charm!

Add your 1 Tbsp of water and beat again until super frothy. Then add your almonds and mix to coat well.
Mix up your spices.
Use ONLY 1 Tbsp of your spice mixture and combine well with the sugar.
Mix the sugar and spice with the almonds until evenly coated.

Spread the almonds out in a thin layer on a large, rimmed baking sheet.
Pop in the oven at 325 degrees for 25 minutes, stirring halfway through.
While they roast, enjoy the cool, fall breeze.
Remove from the oven and transfer to wax paper to cool.
Serve ‘em up!
I thought these were good, but Hubbs really liked them. He thought they’d be perfect to have out at Christmas time, so I guess they could be holiday-spiced almonds instead of just Autumn- spiced
I think these would make awesome treats to wrap up in cute bags and give out to neighbors and friends for the holidays.
YUM!
What is your favorite thing about the fall season?
Mine is the refreshing, cooler temperatures.
And college football.
And pumpkin patches.
And boots.
And pumpkin beer.
And scarves….
