Fitness Year in Review- 2012

The end of the year always seems to be a good time to look back and see what we accomplished & decide what we're looking forward to next year.

2012 was a year of fun fitness for my family.


In January I made 2 resolutions .  One of them was to run or walk a mile every day in 2012.  This turned out to be a pretty stupid resolution for me.  Once I got into half marathon training my joints desperately needed rest days.  They are so important for me.  Lesson learned.

We also got all excited for Cross-Country skiing to start, but ended up spending more time on the roller-blades thanks to a ridiculously mild winter.  (We need some snow this year!)


February brought us enough snow to get the skis out and properly tire out the children on a fairly regular basis. Yes!
