Just before the Christmas holiday, I received an email from Kelly, the founder of FitFluential , inviting me to join the network as an ambassador. I’d heard a lot about FitFluential through other blogs and Twitter , and I accepted the invitation right away!
“FitFluential is a nationwide network of fitness enthusiasts sharing their journey both online and offline through multiple social media platforms.”
Combining fitness (and nutrition, because they go hand-in-hand) with social media is precisely what I love to do, so I’m excited to join this like-minded group.

I love fitness. It’s one of my greatest passions.
For me, it’s about sweating once a day , releasing endorphins, and having a healthy, strong body. Sometimes that means determination and goal-setting, sometimes it means going for a bike ride with my husband to have a picnic at the park.

Overall, I enjoy an active lifestyle whether it’s structured or not.
But either way, fitness is an emotional outlet, a way to challenge ourselves mentally and physically, and achieve goals to prove our strength and capabilities.
Since starting my job at lululemon last March, I’ve expanded my fitness horizons, and experimented with all sorts of classes and activities. I’m willing to try just about anything, but my loves are running, Pilates, yoga, and biking.
I used to write about specific fitness-related topics and goals more often when I was training for half marathons. I definitely see a half marathon (or two) in my 2012, so I’m ready to get back into the running and training chatter on the blog.
So lace up your running shoes, register for a race, unroll your yoga mat, clip in your cycling shoes, pick up a barbell, step up to the barre, or get on the reformer.
Do it now! I’ll come, too.
What’s your favorite fitness activity?
What’s one fitness activity or class you’ve always wanted to try?
