I highly recommend Feel Good Food. It is loaded with healthy recipes including tons of vegetarian and quite a few vegan options. It has far fewer italian recipes than I expected, but there are so many recipes I want to try asap. Last night I actually made one recipe from each book. Couscous stuffed Red Bell Peppers with avocado sauce from FGF and Rosemary Sweet Potato Soup from WNWG . They both got rave reviews from the company we had over. Unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to take a picture of the fresh version with the avocado sauce, but here’s a picture from my leftovers today!
Just on a side note, both these recipes can both be made vegan quite easily. The peppers were stuffed with walnuts, peppers, garlic, shallot, raisins and white beans. You could totally skip the cheese too.
My ipad is stocked up with the Tone It Up Nutrition plan. I really wanted to get it before the wedding, but there were so many expenses that I couldn’t justify the price. So I put it on my wish list. I’ll write a review after I have some time to soak it in.
Finally, I have some new running gear. The Asics GT 2000s and a new winter running jacket from Lulu. I’m not 100% sure about the Asics, I had about 6 pairs of the GT21 series, and these new ones feel much stiffer and tighter than any of the others I owned. Maybe it’s just because I’ve been wearing a lot of the New Balance minimalist shoes from my cross training that the support shoes feel less comfy. I hope they break in well because I desperately needed new running shoes!
