This evening Casey and I had a campfire at my parent's house. After thinking a while, we came to the conclusion that we haven't had a campfire since Casey proposed over one year ago!! Talk about long time coming!
We cooked some hotdogs over the campfire for dinner as Zeke played in the yard. He loved having all that room to run around. We also roasted marshmallows to make into s'mores. Unfortunately, it was too dark to take photos by that point. My phone doesn't have a flash and I'm still waiting to retrieve my camera and laptop. Bummer! We made s'mores using regular chocolate and Reece peanut butter cups. They were pretty good, but didn't quite have the same melty texture as regular s'mores. Oh well! They were still good in my books!
Overall, a very good night! I can officially cross an item off of my "Long Weekend To Do" list.
