Microwaving food modifies its original chemical structure or ‘form’ in a way that our bodies cannot recognise. Up to 90% of nutritional value is destroyed during microwaving. Vitamins and minerals are destroyed and altered in such a way that the body is not able to metabolise (break down and use) the ingested nutrients to use for energy, growth and repair.
