Feeling Joy

Greetings!  It has officially been nearly one year since my last blog post and SO, so much has changed.  Here is a quick rundown:

  • May – Completed 1200 hours of supervised practice in dietetics
  • July – Passed my board exams (and chewed off all my nails in the process) and FINALLY finished the very long road to becoming a Registered Dietitian
  • August – Was promoted to Wellness Dietitian at work
  • October – Trip to Philadelphia for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo; also earned a Certificate in Adult Weight Management Training

As you can see, last year was a little crazy on the home front (hence my brief break from blogging) and I am welcoming 2013 with open arms.  My New Year’s resolution this year is to live in the present and focus on joy (is there an app for that?). One of the things I am most looking forward to this year is writing again.  Can I also just say that “13″ is my favorite number so this year must hold great things right?!
