I sort of had a weird day yesterday.
Don’t get me wrong, it was a great day (one of the best I’ve had in a while), but I had this “off” feeling. Nothing was wrong and I can’t quite put my thumb on it! At first I thought I was getting a cold, but I feel fine today.
I think the fact that I have the biggest exam of my college career has a little bit to do with it. From 6-10 PM tomorrow night, I’ll be doing a case study with 500 of my class mates. This is basically my exit exam from the business school and I’ll be asked to prepare a complete industry analysis and draft a recommendation.
Doesn’t that sound like fun?
Hey, at least it will be over soon! I can’t wait to start my celebration
When I’m not feeling myself, I turn to running and my “feel good foods.” Both of these things always perk me up a little bit!
Kombucha

DUH .
Tea leaves contain antioxidants that can help to boost immune function, which will help fight off bacteria and viruses. Kombucha is seriously a wonder drink. Whenever I start to feel a cold coming on, I always drink one and I swear it helps.
As a side note: I just found this flavor on campus and it is definitely one of my favorites now. Actually, if you go to UA, I’m the reason Kombucha is sold on campus. I think the head of food service officially hates me
Strawberries, Bananas, Oranges, and Broccoli
(Oatmeal pancakes with cocoa nibs, strawberries, coconut peanut butter, and maple syrup)
All of these are loaded with Vitamin C!
Feeling sick?
Everyone knows that you should hook yourself up to an IV with vitamin C. Some studies have shown that taking high doses of vitamin C daily may significantly reduce cold and flu symptoms. Other studies have seen a modest benefit in reducing the duration of a cold or flu symptoms.
Oatmeal
Oatmeal and many other whole-grain cereals delivers three nutrients known to support your immune system: selenium, zinc, and beta-glucan .
It’s also a great vessel for chocolate.
OMG.
Sweet Potatoes
Avocado Stuffed Sweet Potato
Sweet potatoes are a good source of vitamin B6, which help support a wide range of activities in your nervous system. Sweet potatoes also contain a lot of vitamin A and antioxidants such as beta-carotene.
They also taste like candy!
What are some of your “feel good foods”?

I also run when I’m not feeling like myself. Actually, I run all the time…
Thursday Workout
Woo! Such a great run!
Someone please tell me that I will live through tomorrows exam…
