February 18, 2013 - Part of our Road Trip - Visiting Acadia

Exploring and hiking in Acadia National Park.
We just got back from traveling a few days ago, and I have been having a really hard time trying to decide what I should post from our adventures on this crazy interspace page that nobody reads…
I try NOT to make this blog SUPER personal. Personally, I think of it as a running/exercising/fitness blog. Although…. It is titled “I Just Do Stuff”
Nathan and I managed to sneak away for a couple of days (Saturday through Wednesday actually!!) on a road trip, and I’ve decided I wanted to share SOME highlights, those that include fitness and exercising.
On Monday, February 18, 2013 we explored Acadia National Park, in Maine. (I LOVE MAINE!) This was our second time in Acadia (first time - September 2010) and it’s hands down one of our favorite places ever. Although many roads are closed in Acadia in the winter time, we drove and walked the ones that were open. We visited Schooner Head Overlook and walked down to the cliffs. Being on those cliffs was so incrediably peaceful, it was hard to leave!
** In my next post, I’ll write about where we went to next!
