What is fear? According to the dictionary , fear is "a distressing emotion aroused by impending danger, evil, pain, etc., whether the threat is real or imagined; the feeling or condition of being afraid."
From a mental fitness perspective, it is important to determine whether fear is based upon a real threat or imagined. If there is a real threat, then it is important to take constructive action to protect yourself.
Today I like to talk about imagined threats or irrational fear.
Let us dissect fear. Let us bust your fears.
Irrational Fear Is:
- False Evidence Appearing Real.
- False Expectations Appearing Real.
- False Expectations Appearing Right or
- False Exclamations Appearing Reasonable.
Irrational fear is always false. Fear is based upon false evidence, false expectations and false exclamations.
We can bust fear by rationally challenging and obtaining information to destroy false evidence, expectations and exclamations.
We must remember that false evidence, expectations and exclamations can appear real, when they are not real.
We must remember that false evidence, expectations and exclamations create false perceptions of what is real, right and reasonable.
The next time you begin to feel fear, dissect it and bust it.
Do not let false evidence, expectations and exclamations from others make you anxious and fearful. If you are feeling fearful, is there real danger. Or are you falsely convinced that there is real danger, because you have failed to question the evidence, your expectations and the exclamations of others.
Bust your fear by realizing that fear is false expectations appearing real!
Remember, You Will Live within the Environment Created by Your Choices!
