I’ve never been interested in any games on Facebook– I’ve never played Farmville, nor Mafia Wars– and really don’t plan on becoming a Facebook “gamer” anytime soon. However, I had to make an exception yesterday, when my friend introduced me to this:
Fantasy Bachelor!! It’s basically “fantasy football” for Bachelor fans.

I kicked some
serious fantasy boo-tay, if I do say so myself. Did anyone else watch last night? I think this is going to be a fun season– except the fangs kinda freak me out. If you watched, you know what I’m talking about.
Eek.
While watching
The Bachelor, we feasted on
a bounty of veggies:
Green salads to start, followed by
roasted sweet potatoes and broccoli:
(with organic ketchup “dunking puddles” on the side)
Quite a tasty dinner!
Austin has decided to try
eating the same meals as me for the time being, as he wants to try
the Paleo/Caveman diet. I don’t follow that diet, per say, but since it cuts out all grain and processed foods, it’s already pretty similar to my eating style! I’m just making Austin’s meals a little bigger than mine, and seeing how that goes. I don’t like to cook meat in our house, so he’s going to have to settle for mostly veggie meals which is fine with him. After all, he was a vegetarian for nearly 9 years! (we’re both not officially vegetarian anymore, though we do eat mostly veggie meals)
And even though
dark chocolate probably isn’t on the Paleo diet, I have no intention of giving it up myself– so, I have a feeling Austin will still enjoy a bit, too.

This morning, I realized that while I bought a whole bag of greens last night,
I forgot to pick up romaine for juicing! Doh. I really don’t enjoy my green juice without romaine, so I opted for
a couple scrambled eggs with shredded raw goat cheese for breakfast this morning instead:

Cheesy eggs will never get old for me. Ever.
I was also planning on
giving up coffee as a new year’s resolution…

…but that’s just going to have to wait for another month. It’s way too comforting to give up while it’s SO chilly outside!
I’m off to make dinner, but
I’ll be back with
a fun experiment tomorrow! I’m excited to share!
