Guest Blogger: Eyes the eternal part of the body needs utmost care for its healthy vision. Eye care not only needs a healthy diet in daily schedule but also needs some good exercises to be followed as a routine to keep the eye glowing and sparkling. Eyes play a major role on expression rather than the other parts of the body in the day to day life.

In what way eye exercises help
Eye exercises play a major role in curing of eye sight problems such as eye irritation,eye pain, eye blurriness, itchy eyes, eye infection, eye dryness,eye sight defect, and so on..Eye problems are on a big list. To feel the charisma in your eyes follow some good exercise. Some of the suggested exercises for eye are listed below for your benefit.

General Eye exercise:

* Eye exercise instructions-
o Include eye exercise in your regular exercise schedule.
o Don’t be too fast to perform the exercise. Sit down calm, relax and do the eye exercise slowly and gentle such that your eyes get a good health to fight eye sight problems.
o Gradually increase your exercise timings. First start up with some 2 exercise movements practice it for some 3 days then add up a new exercise continue for 3 days and so on..
o See to that your eye don’t get too much strained in performing these exercise. Twitch your eyes for a second between each repetitions.

* Eye concentration: Mark a small black spot on the wall of your home with a black pen. Sit down comfortably on a blanket or a chair. Start focusing at the black spot for as long as you can .This will make your eyes strong on vision and also improves your concentration. This is simply called as eye strengthening exercise.

* Eye open and close: Open your eyes widely and close it tight (Be gentle in doing this exercise to avoid eye pain) Repeat this exercise for ten times with a sec pause on each set.

* Eye rolling- Roll your eyes clockwise for 5 counts, followed by anti-clockwise movement for 5 counts this strengthens your eye muscles and blood flow is regularized in eyes.

* Eye movement- Move your eyes up and down slowly. Then from left to right for 5 counts each. To enhance flexibility of eye movement making eye look active.

* Eye and hand movement- keep your thumbs of both the hands close to each other as the nail faces you with fingers closed to palm. Now focus on the thumb nail.
o Move your hands up to down, and vice versa. Repeat for 5 times.
o Now move your hands from left to right side and vice versa. Repeat for 5 times.
o Move your hands in multiplication sign i.e., from north-west to south-east and from north-east to south-west position. Repeat for 3-5 times.
o Move your hands in circular movement forming a big an wide circle. Both clockwise and anti-clockwise movement. Perform it for 5 times on each direction.
o Remember that your eyes follow the thumb nails as the hand moves .

* Eye Twitching or blink your eyes frequently to improve nourishment to eye muscles to avoid dryness. Repeat as when you feel your eyes to be dried and painful.

* Blood circulation to eyes: Yoga too has a great impact on eye health as Sarvangasana (Shoulder stand), sirasasana (Head stand), Uttanasana (Standing forward Bend) are some exercises which stimulates a fast blood flow to your head increasing the capillary vacuum facilitating an even blood flow to face as a whole. In turn increases eye power to the maximum. These exercises give a glow and shine to your eye.
