exuberant rose.

Posted Mar 16 2012 12:00am

I had a moment of desperation at the Munich airport on Sunday morning. My nails were chipped to a point of embarrassment that I could no longer bear. As soon as I got through security I made a beeline for the Duty Free store where I purchased my very first Chanel nail polish and a miniature bottle of remover.  I rationalized the frivolous purchase since it cost the same as a 10-minute manicure at one of those airport “express spas.”

I immediately headed to the bathroom where I tore open the bag that clearly said “Do Not Open” and got to work. Now, I’m normally not a rule-breaker however, if I buy an expensive nail polish and overpriced miniature bottle of remover in the airport, they should know it’s an emergency and the Duty Free bag will be opened.

This hue is so Spring I can barely take it. How about this exuberant-rose colored blossoming tree outside my front door?

I’m officially ready for warm weather, chirping birdies, sunshine and flowers after a  wonderful week on the slopes in Austria, despite the fact that I think my allergies are  wreaking havoc on my body.

Every time I catch a glimpse of my finger nails, I feel good… like really good.

Love it too? Essie makes a less expensive but just as exuberant rose-colored polish called Pansy .
