Dried eucalyptus stems lined up along an empty wall. I just so happen to have dried eucalyptus that I picked up at the flower shop stashed in the closet. It is burnt orange to match the living room’s decor.
It used to live in an arrangement with orange lanterns, but when Jelly came along I had to put it out of reach ( toxic to cats !)
Once I saw the inspirational image, I sprung into action.
Jelly came too.
I turned the empty wall above into this:
Pretty nice, right? Considering this look cost $0 to create, I’m very pleased with it.
I nailed each stem to the wall, the nail heads are practically invisible as they are covered with leaves.
I think it gives the room an earthy vibe, and the color is perfect for fall and winter. And, they are hung high enough to be out of the cat’s reach. Win-win!
