Posted Nov 28 2010 12:09pm

I wanted to post my workout today.. because I’m proud! Ha! I tried another 5×5 for my back today- and guess what- I did weighted pull ups! Man, in November of last year I was doing assisted ones with a lot of help. Now I’m doing weighted? I can’t believe it! Anyway, here’s how the workout went:

Straight Sets (1 minute to 2 minutes rest between sets)

  • Wide Grip Pull Ups (unassisted)- 5 sets of 5, 2 sets I had 10 pounds strapped onto me
  • Bent Over Barbell Row- 105 pounds, 5 sets of 5 <-increased weight
  • One Arm Row- 50 pounds per arm, 5 sets of 5 (well, first set I got 6 reps) <-increased weight
  • Skull Crushers- 50 pounds, 4 sets of 8, 8, 6, 6

  • Low Row- 85 pounds, 4 sets of 9, 8, 8, 8
  • Tricep Cable Extension- 30 pounds, 4 sets of 8, 8, 6, 6
