Uterine fibroid tumors are tumors that grow within and around the uterus and are usually benign (non-cancerous). The texture of the fibroid tumor is usually described as firm or solid.
Uterine fibroid tumors range in different sizes. The sizes are usually compared to fruit, like the size of a lemon, grapefruit, pea, or other objects like a golf ball.
Heavy menstrual flow
Large clots
Long lasting periods (7 days or more)
Spotting in-between periods
Some women report painful intercourse, with spotting to follow
Periods consuming too much of your life
