Eco-Friendly Puppy

Posted Apr 30 2011 3:24pm

Not like the…..”Sorry I recycled the dog” kind of way though.

Anyways, before that, this morning started off on the right foot. It was sunny and bright outside..looked warm, but it wasn’t It was all of 48 degrees outside, but I wanted to go for a rollerblade & enjoy the sunshine anyway.

But it's cooooooooldddddd!

100% not a staged photo......

Came back an hour & a half later for some breakfast. A toasted cinnamon raisin bagel thin topped with apple butter, almond butter, banana slices, cinnamon & chia seeds. Mmmm.

The dogs were full of energy, so I leashed them up and took them to the dog park again (it’s a hobby where I live…nothing else to do!)

There were so many dogs at the park today! Miley was only interested in fetching the ball, so it’s lucky I brought the Chuck It, because I throw like a girl.

On the way home, Layla was doing her usual stop-n-sniff everything she comes across. And then she came across an empty bottle of apple juice & she picked it up. Ew Layla, put it down. Drop it. Droooppppppppp it.

She wouldn’t put it down. She was a dog on a mission.

To RECYLE. Ok either I get really bored & imagine things, or my 5-month old puppy has an environmentally conscious attitude. She took it all the way home & dropped it in the recycling bin.

More human interest than my centipede story? Ah well. Eeeeetsaslownewsweeeeeek.
