Happy Earth Day from all of us on Ladies Holiday! If you've been with us for awhile then you know how much we care about our planet, our health, and ways that "going green" can effect both positively. In honor of Earth Day, I'd like to share a really simple recipe for a fantastic home-made cleaner. All you need is white vinegar, discarded orange peels, an airtight container, and 2 weeks worth of patience. You can do that right?

I don't know about you, but I thought that was pretty easy, so I tried it and ya know what? It works great and smells great too! I couldn't believe what an incredible and immediate degreaser it was. I have been using it on my glass stove-top and also on the hood-vent-thingy that gets dusty and grimey. In fact, I've been using it all over my kitchen. I love that it was so simple, so cheap and doesn't have anything in it at all that is harmful to my family or the planet.
If each person only makes one small change to a more earth friendly practice that adds up to millions of small changes, and that adds up to a whole lotta' good for everyone!
