Dorm Décor, Phase 1

Posted Jan 15 2013 5:00am

I’ve finally moved into student digs, and while I’m loving living in central London, I definitely miss the comforts of having my own apartment. {Um, hello, sharing a bathroom/kitchen with four other flatmates!}

When I arrived, I was presented with this teensy box, sans the red sheets but with the awful crimson curtain. I started making the place over the second I moved in with picture collages, soft sheets and my tea collection — there’s no way I’m forgoing my morning cup of chocolate chili chai.

There are a couple of projects I’ve yet to complete, like hanging up a mosquito net, weaving a dreamcatcher, marking up my world map, and putting up about 103510 more pictures of friends from back home.
This is a solid start, though — London feels more like home now that I have a little nest to cozy up in at night. Now to stock my single shelf in the kitchen… wish me luck :S
